Level 4: The home becomes unsanitary. Mould, pests, and disrepair appear. Letting go feels nearly impossible.
Level 5: Living conditions are unsafe. No working kitchen or bathroom, blocked exits, and major health risks.
Hoarding isn’t about laziness—it’s often tied to emotional pain, trauma, or anxiety. Healing is possible, and support makes a big difference.
